Acoustic Movable Wall Repair at Madley Park, Witney in Oxfordshire

We were called to Madley Park in Witney as they could not move one of the panels of the conference room movable wall system. We attended site and found that one panels sealing mechanism had failed and would not release. Also, it was difficult to open and close the system as bottom seals were damaged dragging on the floor. The system was unusable and also was impacting upon the usage and loss of money as the hall could not be hired out. From our initial survey a quotation was raised for the movable wall repairs.

We scheduled the work to be carried out when the hall was empty and when we arrived on site, we designated a safe working area by deploying our yellow safety barriers.

We had to open the system fully to remove the faulty panel to be able to expose the internal mechanism and repair it. All of the other panels with the damaged seals were removed and new seals installed. On completion the system was fully tested, then we cleaned the track and all of the panels. Finally, we demonstrated the system to the customer and the parts we replaced.
